A hospitalidade hoteleira: bem recebendo a comunidade LGBT

The main theme of this paper is hotel hospitality provided to the LGBT tourism segment (Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transsexuals and Transgenders). It has as objective to analyze how hospitality has been developed with the individual members of this community, in order to verify their level of satisfaction according to hospitality posture methods towards them. The research is qualitative with exploratory and bibliographic classification. As instrument for data collection, a virtual questionnaire was used, with questions that made it possible to obtain information about LGBT demand and their level of satisfaction in relation to the means of accommodation used in their travel experiences. The results showed: the LGBT tourist who uses the means of accommodation consists of a niche market with a high purchase power. According to the data obtained, it is shown that the LGBT segment needs services that are idealized for their environment, services that are constantly growing in the market, requiring better training for all professionals in the tourism field that is offered to the community. According to the questionnaire there is still some market resistance regarding the availability of hotel services for sexual and gender diversity.
